Hi! I am Doug Schuetz, a voice over talent and actor.   I was based in Chicago up until my recent move to Raleigh NC.  I have performed at numerous theatres in Chicago, but my most memorable acting achievement was working as an understudy at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago performing the role twice during the run.  My voiceover work spans the country with clients like Cars.com, Amgen and other smaller local businesses.  But my proudest achievement was narrating for the PGA and working with their entertainment division remotely from my studio here in NC.

People who work with me say my prep, humor, and creativity radiate out like a warm red-orange explosion that makes them laugh and know in their hearts that this guy gets it and cares about their project.  I am at home onstage in front of live audience in some funny costume or holed up in my home studio making copy sizzle in jeans and flip-flops.   I feel most creative when working with people over a phone connection, in the studio for VO, or doing rapid fire comedy routines and infecting a live audience with laughter.  I get the same high catching a bass on a remote lake deep in the Boundary Waters.
